The Houston Texans signed a DT

The Houston Texans added depth to the defensive line on Tuesday. The Texans have made new signings for 2023 recently, as the Texans recently inked a record-breaking starter this week. They have now signed a defensive tackle with experience on a Super Bowl-winning team for 2023.

According to NFL agent Brett Tessler, the Texans have added defensive tackle Taylor Stallworth to their roster for next season. This will be Stallworth’s sixth season in the NFL. He played for both the Chiefs and Texans in 2022. Before joining the Chiefs, Stallworth was with the Texans’ AFC South rival, the Indianapolis Colts.

Stallworth appeared in one game for the Texans last season. He recorded four total tackles and one tackle for loss with the Texans in 2022. Stallworth has a total of 4.5 sacks since joining the league in 2018. New head coach DeMeco Ryans is trying to build a championship culture. Hopefully, Stallworth can bring beneficial input after being with a championship winner for most of the 2022 season.
